Backed by a live band, a DJ, + background vocalists, Atlanta rapper Naj Murph took the stage at Apache Cafe ready to deliver.  The energy was obvious as all parties took their place on stage to give their addition to the subsequent performance.  After his first set, “Musical High,” you’d think this was a lot of extra for a new artist but after witnessing the maniacal madness that was his stage presence + energy in the following performances {whew!}  In short, we’re still hyped + winded!  The kid absolutely needed the massive backing to allow the music to keep up with him!  If the showcase was for those on the rise, then Naj Murph definitely belonged.  He’s definitely bringing new life to the term performer for today’s rap artists.
